The exclusive Boténor complex is an extract of extremophile plants with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory biological properties. Produced from macerates of wild mastic tree, wild olive, Helichrysum italicum, and endemic lavender cotton, all the plants that make up this active ingredient come from our first Cosmetic Farm™ located on the island of Menorca, which is classified as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Mastic gum from the centenarian lentisk pistachio trees on the Greek island of Chios activates detoxification and cellular repair by increasing levels of Foxo and Klotho proteins—more commonly known as longevity and youth proteins—in fibroblasts.
Plant-based hyaluronic acid is extracted from Tamarind seeds and contains polysaccharides capable of forming hydrocolloid films on the skin's surface to help restore a high level of hydration. Plant-based polyglutamic acid is a super-powered acid derived from the fermentation of Japanese soybeans that is capable of absorbing water molecules up to 5000 times its own weight. A natural moisturizer, it helps to increase skin elasticity and helps to reduce epidermal pigmentation as well as the appearance of fine lines.
